Hi Terri,

You needn't mention my hat...as far as I'm concerned everything I've ever designed as been heavily inspired by something I've seen, but thanks for asking.

I'm on vacation and have limited computer time, so I've gotta go but please feel free to do whatever you like with any part of the hat... it really is just based on traditional Norwegian hat shaping.
So there you go! How levelheaded is that? Some people are just so sensible. Anybody want the pattern? And just how do you make a PDF file?

Me, me, me! Please and sorry I don't know how to make a pdf file. Can't you just choose to save it as such when you save (I think we can do that but we're on Mac)?

Hi Terri,

To make a pdf, google cutepdf and download the free application.

This will add cutepdf to your printer options, so what you do is this: compose your word doc, go to "print", select "cutepdf" n.b. THIS DOES NOT PRINT THE DOCUMENT, what happens instead is that you get an dialogue box asking you to save the pdf - and hey presto! You end up with a word doc AND a pdf doc!

I downloaded this to my home pc last Friday and it works a treat.

Wow that is so cool of her :)
pdf files, Raverly to the rescue .. go to all forums, type in "How to Create PDF's for Free" and bingo lots of options.
I have been using doPDF which I like, you of course can choose what suits you :)
Good luck and can't wait to see your pattern.
