How's that? Here's my poster for the new S&B. Having already put out four , I've JUST noticed that Stitch hasn't got a capital S. *&$%?!

The Olympic project? Shh. I'm keeping very quiet. I just might have enough yarn - but it's looking a bit small. Maybe fit me instead???
I've half finished the back and left front and I've only got to pick up and knit the cuff on one sleeve (knit sideways and grafted together). I've still got one whole sleeve and 3/4 of the right front to do.

Now I really ought to go to bed.

I'd remove your phone number from the web if I were you - just to be safe.

Good luck with the group - I set mine up just over a year ago & we regularly have between 15 - 18 people every month. It's really good fun.

What's the worse that could happen? I did think about removing my phone no. when I uploaded the poster - but then I thought nah, how'm I going to do that? being a dunce when it comes to html - and at least I'm unlikely to get spammed down a landline, teehee.
What do you do in your knitclub, blue? (besides knit, I mean). Do you ever do any joint projects? I was thinking about making a list of good websites to pass out... I'm not expecting many the first session but fingers crossed, word will spread!

Hello! I've just replied to your question on my blog. I wish you all the best with it. The first meeting I held two people turned up and I was so pleased I had to ring everybody I knew afterwards to tell them all! I was convinced I was going to be sitting there all by myself! We seem to be settling at about 10 people now, which is a good number, I feel.

Yes, a list of websites would be a nice idea, I print out any new patterns I come across on the web and people are free to browse through and take what they would like - I'd say about half of my group don't have internet access so they appreciate seeing what's new out there.

Good luck with it all Terri!

Sorry I'm so late in responding to this - I've only just found your reply to my comment.

We've done stash & pattern swaps & also a joint project last year for National Knitting Week.

I've also set up a Yahoo group for our members & we've got a good collection of databases on it with LYS's, out of area YS's, online magazines & other resources.

My group has just gone to twice a month & is proving to be very popular.
